SSC Paper Leek: SC Disposed PIL

A PIL filed on SSC paper leak by Adv. Manohar Lal Sharma is disposed of today by the Supreme Court. The bench of Justice R.K. Agrawal and Justice A.M. Sapre dispose the PIL in light of submission made by ASG before the bench. Central government submitted to the court that CBI has registered a preliminary inquiry into the SSC paper leak and is probing the matter. The Centre also submitted that inquiry is initiated against unknown officers and other unknown persons.

Taking into consideration these submissions the bench said:

“In view of the submission made by the learned ASG, no further order is required at this stage. However, we grant the liberty to the petitioner to approach this court again if he is not satisfied with the probe”
