Social Impact Of COVID-19

Corona has changed the entire world however there is more than 100 percent increase in cybercrime and family dispute.  There are lot of discussion about clean environment, river, and enhanced visibility.  Delhi is visible clean during this time.  As far I remember and understand the quality of air is best since the last 25 years.

We have seen discussion on economy at different and diverse platforms but not about mental health and various sociology issues.  Our society has lived for an exceedingly long time by meeting and interacting the people through personal meetings.   We have lived a social life for the last 50 years when we enjoyed with our friends, client, socializing etc.  I did really enjoy most meeting and spending my time with friends and my family.

However, Corona changed everything of our basic fabric of society so, suddenly that you can feel the change.  I walk for last a few days and has seen everyone trying to stand at least one meter and changed the course of walking on road. Now everyone keeps a distance and walks a meter ahead of the other.

I do believe that this drastic change in our life will lead to disruption of our lifelong habits.   It is not easy to adjust with entirely different world. It is perfect situation to create more psychological sociological issues with the huge population like ours, as per my understanding.  The Government cannot ignore this prospective huge problem.  We are focusing on economics losses, job reduction and other difficulties that are faced by us.  It is extremely dangerous to ignore the aspect of sociological and psychological issues that we will face as human and its consequences on our society.   It will be catastrophic if we lose our human resources to it.  I am wondering whether we can live so differently,  without able to explain our feelings.

There is other perspective to it that life finds its own ways but there is big question mark at what cost of sociological issues as being contrary to definition of human being presently.  Can we live like as human beings after corona as we believed for so many centuries back!
