Long Litigation ended with Mutual Divorce

Supreme Court on February 20, 2018 passed a judgment according to which the long litigation between the parties comes to an end with mutual divorce. The decision of the court came in an appeal filed by Mr. Sudarsana Rao Gadde against the order dated June 16, 2017 passed in civil Revision No. 1804/2017. The parties of instant petition were litigating matrimonial dispute from a long period.

The bench of Justice Kurian Joseph and Justice Mohan M. Shantanagoudar said “Having interacted with the parties, we find that they have taken a conscious decision without being influenced by any other extraneous factors”

The court-annexed the settlement made between parties with the judgment and directed parties to strickly abide with the terms of settlement. The court further restrains parties from initiating any subsequent petition against each other in respect of any dispute arising out of settlement dated 01/08/2017. In settlement made between the parties, both amicably reach to an end regarding custody of their child Ayush.
