Independence Day celebrated in the two new UTs of India

On the eve of the 73rd Independence Day, India celebrated its independence along with the two new born Union Territories. Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir celebrated their 1st Independence day as Union Territories following the revocation of Article 370 along with Article 35-A.  After the bifurcation of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, it was spilt into two new Territories namely, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh!

On the one side, where Governor Satya Pal Malik hosted the flag in the UT, BJP MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal hosted the tricolor in Ladakh, both celebrating one’s own culture on this patriotic event.  Celebration of the most auspicious day for a nation in the most controversial territory consistently under tug of war for the territorial supremacy claimed by the unworthy neighbours. The territory which has witnessed the blood wraith in the valley inflicted by the nastiest  mentalities and extremist neighborhood Pakistan to disrupt the violence and situation of rebellion against India. The region had witnessed the bloodshades of many of our brave soldiers.

Needs to revoke the special status and changes took place after revocation:-

The one of the most preferred means of livelihood is tourism and the sluggish growth in tourism because of the terrorism in the valley has struck the tourism industry and hence the economy of the nation. The main reason behind these obstructions  was the  provisions  of Article 35A which use to define “permanent resident” of the state and enshrined  the privileges to the citizen and no other citizens outside the state not even Indian citizens were entitled to those privileges, not even to settle down in the state or to own a property. With the revocation of the respective article the region is now a kind of open to the world to set up industries, business firms, country’s premier educational institution, and a lot more. Those hands which use to pelts stone upon the saviours of the nations will now hold the pen, and will be able to lead a life where it can shape it’s future on its own without any foreign influences , without the minds being “brainwashed”.

Various tribes and castes in the state who have not had political representation will also find proper representation,” the Governor said. “The Local tribes will also get the political representation under the new system”, he added. The local leaders were not present in the event as they were either on house arrest or detained.
