SC To Hear Cases From Courtroom From Next Week

The Supreme Court bench assembled at the premises of Supreme Court in Court No. 4 instead of benches residence. A bench of Justices L Nageswara Rao, Abdul Nazeer & Sanjeev Khanna assembled in Court No. 4 of the Supreme Court building and heard matters via Videoconferencing with Lawyers addressing the bench from their respective Chamber(s).

The Supreme Court has been hearing matters via videoconferencing since March 23, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the Coronavirus induced lockdown in the first instance.

As of now only urgent matters were taken up  for hearing. From next week the Supreme Court would be taking the matters from courtroom via video conferencing and the lawyers can address the bench from their respective chambers.
